Part of Tupperware’s ECO story, the Coffee to Go cup is made with ECO+ material, the first food-safe material 100% made from recycled plastic. Designed with minimal parts and well-balanced proportions, it provides the perfect canvas for CMF. As an on-the-go product, it serves as a walking billboard for sustainability and the Tupperware brand.

User journey
An analysis of the user journey was conducted to uncover pain points and identify opportunities for improvement.
Research & testing
User observation, panel feedback, safety testing, and analysis of existing products were used to take design decisions.
Innovation opportunity found!
Through user testing, it was discovered that when reaching for the cup from a cup holder, users often grab it just below the seal, where there is no sleeve. This causes burns, as the sleeve is positioned too low on the cup, leaving the top exposed to heat..

Quick prototypes & 3D printed prototypes
Two concepts were selected for prototyping. Handmade and 3D-printed prototypes were used to explore and refine the geometry.
Concept 1 - Round spout
The spout’s design allows compatibility with the Tupperware Eco Straw, ensuring brand continuity and product compatibility.
